About San Saba Olive Oil Company

San Saba Olive Oil Company was established in Sept 2011. Jim Brozo had his sights set on living in the Texas Hill Country so he purchased a small ranchette near the beautiful town of San Saba, Texas. However, not long after settling in, he realized farming and ranching were not his forte.

Having spent almost 30 years as a partner in the restaurant and produce business, Jim had first-hand knowledge of exceptional cooking products, including superior-quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars. With the ability to acquire such premium products he took a leap of faith and opened up a store front in the heart of San Saba, Texas.

He marketed his olive oil products to nearby wineries, cheese companies, and other specialty stores to gain exposure. San Saba Olive Oil Company continued to grow in its popularity as its quality superseded anything you could find on a grocer's shelf.

Soon business grew to a point where Jim needed help to keep up with demand. In October 2013, René McBee joined in on this fabulous venture. She loves having the opportunity to meet new people on a daily basis and to introduce this fabulous product to our customers.

For eight years, we have developed our loyal customer base and because they continue to share these exceptional products, we know that San Saba Olive Oil Company is here to stay.

In April 2019, Jim decided it was time for a well-earned retirement to the beautiful beaches of Florida. René then had the privilege of becoming the new owner and manager of the well-established San Saba Olive Oil Company. She looks forward to carrying on with all the goodness San Saba Olive Oil Company has to offer and providing these superior products to our customers old and new.
